Celebrate Advent Lessons and Carols with us!

When: Sunday December 5th at 5pm.

Where: The Chapel of the Holy Spirit

What: Our annual Advent Celebration of readings and carols, followed by a feast of soups, salads, and deserts.  Come to sing, listen, and enjoy fellowship with one another, and bring a friend!

Please join us this Sunday as we celebrate Christ the King Sunday! We’ll enjoy special music from our service learning students and talk about joyful giving as part of our worship.  As usual, we will have coffee and discussion after the morning service, and supper after the evening service.  Please join us!

Hey Church! Stop by sometime this week, and serve or pray with us!

1. Wednesday: 5:30-8:30pm Tutoring grade school children at church of All Souls. Please let me know if you can come, and if you have ASB van-pool certification! madeline.shelton@gmail.com Our number of tutors is growing, and it would be great to be able to reserve a van to accommodate us all! Also, let me know if you have a car and are willing to drive usthanks to Erin and Rosanne who have driven us in the past!

2. Thursday: 5pm Centering Prayer in the Chapel
Thursday: 9pm Compline on campus – on Newcomb Quad, or in the Chapel if it’s raining.

3. Friday: Noon – 1pm Tozer lunch discussion at the LBC. Meet at the waterfalls, and join us as we explore the nature of the Godhead.
Friday: 3pm Religious Freedom Month student planning meeting. The Office of Mulitcultural Affairs is having a planning meeting for upcoming “Religious Freedom Awareness month”. Please consider going in order to plan an event with other students in religious life, and to let people know about what we do at the Chapel!

4. Sunday: 10am Holy Eucharist followed by coffee, fellowship, and sermon discussion.
Sunday: 6:30pm Holy Eucharist followed by supper and fellowship.

Also, tonight, there’s a presentation from OMA about the Zapatista indigenous movement in Mexico! It’s from 4-5 today at the LBC room 202.
